Abstract

Physiotherapy is an essential component of modern healthcare, emphasizing rehabilitation and the enhancement of physical well-being. The practice is regulated by legal frameworks and ethical principles designed to protect patients while maintaining professional accountability. This paper reviews the interplay between legal and ethical considerations in physiotherapy, examining issues such as patient consent, malpractice, licensing, tele-rehabilitation, and equity in access. It also explores emerging challenges posed by technological advancements and globalization in healthcare delivery.
